Our council was founded in April of 1987 through the efforts of 33 men. The first Grand Knight was Mark Doiron. The Council works closely with the St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Madison, Mississippi providing funds for various projects, members being active participants in their parish. etc. Some additional projects the Council has participated in are the Tootsie Roll Drive, Blood Drive, Special Olympics, St. Richards Special Kids Program, St. Joe School fund raising, Cajun Fest, Habitat for Humanity, Pro-Life "Grillin for Life", St. Anthony School, and many other events
